    SchoolSite Locator is a web-based program that helps you locate your closest school within the Ravenswood City School District boundaries of East Palo Alto and east Menlo Park.

    First read the information below and then click on the link at the bottom of the page. 
     
    Overview:
    Since the 2020-2021 school year, Ravenswood City School District has returned to open enrollment for district elementary schools. Families may indicate preference for an elementary school even if the preferred elementary school is not the closest school to where they live.
     
    All students in 6th-8th grade attend Cesar Chavez Ravenswood Middle School.
      
    School Assignment Procedures
    • During enrollment, families indicate their preferred school.
      • If space is available at the preferred school, students will be enrolled there.
      • If space is not immediately available at the preferred school, students will be enrolled at another district school.
      • Families are able to fill out a transfer request if space is not immediately available at the preferred school.
    • For Los Robles Ronald McNair Academy, our Spanish Dual Immersion School, families will need to complete an interest form.
      • Additionally for families wanting students to enroll at Los Robles Ronald McNair after kindergarten and were not previously in a dual immersion program, students will have an assessment to determine suitable placement.

    Child Development Center
    The Ravenswood Child Development Center (CDC) no longer exists within the Ravenswood City School District. If you need information for local preschools, we can provide a list for you.
