Social Emotional Learning
Social Emotional Learning
We recognize the importance of social emotional learning and health for our students. We actively teach skills to students to help handle their emotions.
In partnership with the San Mateo County Office of Education, the Ravenswood City School District is part of the Mental Health Student Services Act (MHSSA) grant. With this grant, we are able to implement Second Step as the District’s social emotional learning (SEL) program for all grades.
We have also offered resiliency workshops at all school sites through our partnership with Child Mind Institue (CMI).
If you have questions about SEL, please contact Aida Campara, 650-329-2800 ext. 60170, Email
