COVID Safety

August 12, 2022 Updates

August 12, 2022 Updates

#OneRavenswood Community,
At their board meeting last night, the Ravenswood Board of Trustees decided to match our approach to masks with the latest state and county guidance. Starting today (August 12, 2022), masks will be strongly recommended on Ravenswood campuses and in Ravenswood offices.

Ravenswood will continue to provide masks for students and staff members who want them. If there is a surge at a school or across the district, the Superintendent may require masks again until cases go back down.

Please get yourself and your family vaccinated and boosted (anyone 5 or older is eligible for boosters now). We will also provide free over-the-counter COVID tests for students and staff before major breaks/holidays, and more often if supplies allow. Free COVID tests will be available at all Back to School events for all families and staff. We ask all families to test your children the day before coming back to school on August 24th.

You can find more information in our COVID Safe Schools Framework below. Going forward, any new updates will be posted on this page.
