Superintendent's Letter to the Community - October 19, 2018title

Dear Ravenswood Community:

Last night, NBC Bay Area aired a story about hate mail our district received. The letter threatened many of our valued team members in an effort to intimidate them for their political views.

As your superintendent, I want you to know that we will never allow anyone to intimidate any member of our community. An attack on any of you is an attack on all of us.

Regardless of your political views, ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation, or religion, you will always have a place at Ravenswood because it is our differences that make us stronger as a community.

If any of you feel threatened in any way, my office is here to support you and your loved ones.

Together, let us show those that seek to spread hate that our love and respect for each other will never allow them the opportunity to divide our community.

Respectfully,

Dr. Gloria M. Hernandez-Goff, Superintendent
Ravenswood City School District
